Tango Colorado is hosting a Tango weekend April 24-25 called "Tango Tiempo". We will be highlighting the talent of our local teachers, and classes will be free to TC members who register in advance. The event will be held at the Denver Turnverein Dance and Cultural Center on both Saturday and Sunday.
Classes will be scheduled from 11:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. A Milonga on Saturday evening will include performances by our local teachers.
Sign-up sheets for the classes will be available at all Tango Colorado practicas prior to the event. If you can't make it to one of the practicas to sign up yourself, please call or email one of the contacts listed below, and let them know which class(es) you'll be attending.

The teacher list includes:
Everyone listed above will be teaching two classes. Two classes will be simultaneously scheduled in the Turnverein Ballroom (North and South sides) much like the Tuesday night Practica. It will be up to the teachers to coordinate music. There will also be classes on the lower level of the Turnverein. To minimize music conflicts, milonga classes are scheduled for the downstairs dance space.
At the milonga, there will be a community dance demonstration. For this, each teacher/partner will enter the floor and occupy a portion of floor (the perimeter of a circle like a pie slice). Everyone will be introduced. The music will start, two songs - one tango and one milonga - will be played and dancers will move around the circle in the line of dance. Tom Stermitz who is the DJ for the milonga will select the songs and provide the titles in advance.
